VHR Receive Our 50th Industry Award

VHR are delighted to announce that we have received our 50th industry award since starting our award-winning streak in 2018.

VHR are always looking for new ways to improve, and award wins allow us to see that we are constantly moving in the right direction. Judges feedback throughout these awards has been incredibly helpful in allowing us to develop as a company where the comments often praise VHR for their innovative solutions.

VHR reflects on our successful four years of award wins and would like to thank each team member, past and present, for making VHR what it is today.

Recruitment Success

VHR received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade, was named Best Contractor Recruitment Company of the Year by REC, and won 15 industry awards in 2018. By 2020 we had won over 46 industry awards. Take a look at some of our highlights.

Queen's Award for Enterprise

VHR received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade in April 2018. The Queen’s Award recognised VHR’s sustainable growth over 15 years and our successes working across 45 countries.

The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise recognise outstanding achievements by UK businesses and is the most prestigious award a UK business can receive. The Queen’s Award was bestowed on VHR in recognition of our sustainable growth since our inception in 2003 and our incredible financial and industry successes over the past three years.

IOD Director of The Year Awards

VHR has been extremely successful when it comes to the IoD awards, and are beyond grateful to have received such prestigious awards each year. VHR has won an IoD award for the past four years, winning a total of 5 different awards so far. The awards are as follows:

Talint International Recruitment Awards

The Talint International Annual Recruitment Awards (TIARAs) aim to set high standards of excellence for the recruitment sector’s crowning achievements. The annual UAE branch of the Awards recognises those staffing providers excelling in the Gulf region.

The Queen's New Years' Honours List - MBE (Member of the British Empire)

Danny Brooks, VHR’s CEO, was named in the 2021 New Years’ Honours List for services to International Trade. Danny was one of only 12 business leaders to be honoured for services to International Trade that year.

An appointment to the Order of the British Empire, an MBE, (Member of the British Empire) is awarded for outstanding achievement or service to the community in Britain and around the world.

The Recruiter Awards

The Recruiter Awards is the most prestigious honours programme in the UK recruitment industry. The Awards recognise excellent best practices and high operating standards and celebrate the exceptional work and achievements of in-house and agency staffing teams working across the industry.
