VHR Awarded 4 TIARA MENA Awards

VHR are delighted to announce that we won 4 TIARA MENA Awards at the 2023 ceremony. 

The TIARA MENA awards which are hosted by Talint Partners, took place on the 2nd of November at the Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah. Attended by CEO’s, industry professionals, talent technology companies, and in-house recruitment teams within the industry, the awards are a place to celebrate achievement and excellence.  

VHR’s TIARA MENA AWARD SUCCESS 

The TIARA’s acknowledge excellence, innovation, and expansion within the recruitment sector across 11 award categories.  VHR were shortlisted for 6 awards and were thrilled to win 4 and be highly commended for one category. 

 The 4 categories that VHR won: 

1. Candidate Experience - This award acknowledges outstanding achievements in sourcing, managing, and supporting candidates to achieve optimal outcomes through excellence, innovation, and impactful practices.  

What the judges said about VHR - VHR impressed the judges by proving the return on investment in ethical recruitment, DE&I embedded talent solutions, and its training and thought leadership to upskill candidates. 

2. Contract Recruitment Company - This accolade acknowledges outstanding achievements, inventive approaches, and expansion in the identification, placement, and assistance of temporary and contingent talent.   

What the judges said about VHR - VHR continue to demonstrate outstanding and comprehensive service. They are taking on client challenges as their own, and are clearly agile to their needs, with an exemplary training proposition to create talent as well as sourcing it. 

3. The Growth Recruitment Company of the Year - This award acknowledges an outstanding history of consistent growth in sales, profitability, team size, as well as candidate and client portfolios.  

What the judges said about VHR - VHR impressed judges with its agility and innovation, adapting to client expectations with new, high value talent solutions to drive not only outstanding growth but profit with purpose. 

4. Specialist Recruitment Company - This award acknowledges industry frontrunners within a specialised sector who can showcase the most profound expertise, exceptional growth, and clear differentiation from their competitors.  

What the judges said about VHR - VHR is widely recognised as a specialist, opting to focus on depth of expertise and credibility in its sector. Its training proposition to create talent and investment in content and thought leadership truly differentiates VHR in the region. 

VHR were also highly commended for The Best Recruitment Company to Work for (Under 50 Employees), with the judges comments on VHR for being highly commended for its academy producing expert recruiters and also underpins its partner brand as a leading specialist recruiter in the region. 

VHR were also nominated for a further two awards 

  1. Best Recruitment Company to Work for - This accolade acknowledges employers within the recruitment and talent solutions industry who are regarded as preferred choices and can showcase innovation and significant influence in their methods for attracting, onboarding, nurturing, and retaining talent. It's specifically aimed at companies with fewer than 50 employees. 
     
  2. Client Service - This accolade acknowledges excellence and cooperative efforts in client service, applauding individuals and teams who consistently earn support and recognition from their client base due to their reliable and punctual outcomes. 
     

In the 2019 TIARA awards, VHR's CEO, Danny Brooks, was honoured as the Entrepreneur of the Year. Within this category, the TIARA judges were highly impressed by Danny's inspirational journey, his ability to surmount various challenges, and his leadership in building a robust business while motivating his team to achieve growth.

VHR have also previously been awarded the Client Service Award and The Specialist Contract Recruitment Company of the Year in 2022.  

The TIARA Awards continue a tradition of honouring VHR, which has previously received accolades such as: 

  • Recruiter Awards 2023 - VHR took home the win for Best Contractor Service with the judges commenting on how VHR shows end-to-end involvement with contractors working cross border, catering for their requirements, transport and accommodation, and supporting them through potential minefields of legal requirements and regulation. 
  • In the Queen's New Year's Honours List of January 2021, VHR's CEO, Danny Brooks, was bestowed with an MBE in recognition of his contributions to International Trade. 
  • IoD Awards – Danny was selected as International Director of the Year by the Institute of Directors in the 2020 IoD Awards with Paul Robinson, VHR’s COO, claiming the title the year before and after in 2021.
