VHR is delighted to have been shortlisted for 11 industry awards across 3 different award businesses, these include the Tiara Recruitment Awards UK, Global Business Awards and Global Recruiter Awards.

TIARA AWARDS

The TIARA Recruitment Awards UK&I acknowledge outstanding achievements in the UK & Ireland staffing industries, encompassing remarkable growth, exceptional client and candidate service, innovation, and leadership.

The five categories that we have been nominated for are:

The Sonovate Client Service Award - This prestigious award acknowledges and celebrates excellence and collaboration demonstrated in the successful execution of talent acquisition projects, campaigns, or ongoing client partnerships.
The Workwell Innovation Award - This distinguished award seeks to honour the most exceptional instances of innovation and improvement, which have empowered recruiters to gain a competitive advantage or achieve more profitable growth.
The 6Cats International Recruitment Company of the Year – This award recognises those that have exhibited sustainable and compliant growth in international sales, profitability, headcount, and customer base.
The Parasol Temporary Recruitment Company of the Year - This award acknowledges excellence, innovation, and remarkable growth in the sourcing, placement, and support of temporary and contingent talent.
The Grant Thornton Specialist Recruitment Company of the Year (up to £50M) - This esteemed award honours market leaders within a specialised sector who can showcase exceptional growth, profound expertise, and a distinctive edge that sets them apart from their competitors.

In 2019, VHR’s CEO Danny Brooks was recognised for his efforts within the industry and was awarded TIARA’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Judges were captivated by Danny’s career story, and how over the years he has overcome multiple occupational obstacles to further build an award-winning company.

VHR were also named Best Technical, Construction and Engineering Recruitment Company in 2021, which was then trailed by another win in 2022 for Client Services in TIARA Recruitment Awards MENA.

Growing Business Awards

For the last 26 years, the Growing Business Awards have successfully united and celebrated the UK's most exceptional entrepreneurs and rapidly growing businesses. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, an array of distinguished nominees, diverse categories, and an accurately refined judging process, these awards focus strongly on recognising the talent within the industry.

The four categories that we are nominated for are:

Employer of the Year – This award is recognising those in the industry who prioritise their team and use this as an instrument towards organisational development. The award looks closely into how the business empowers the team and in reflection, how that has had a constructive impact on the company and its growth.
Export Champion of the Year – This award highlights and celebrates UK companies that have excelled in the global market. It specifically honours businesses that have successfully expanded or initiated operations abroad. This award is dedicated to recognising firms whose recent international triumphs serve as an inspiration for other UK companies, encouraging them to venture into international trade.
Growing Business of the Year (Midsize) - Acknowledging exceptional privately-owned UK companies with a turnover ranging from £25m to £45m. These enterprises play a pivotal role in driving innovation, generating wealth, and contributing to the creation of thousands of new job opportunities.
Growing Business – Recruiter of the Year Award – VHR have been nominated for this award by the Growing Business Awards team for our services to the recruitment industry in the UK .

Global Recruiter Awards

The Global Recruiter Awards welcomes all UK businesses, irrespective of their office location or scope of services. With 17 individual categories, the awards spotlight outstanding achievements among businesses of all sizes, commendable leadership qualities, sustainability and responsibility, contributions to economic growth, corporate excellence, and individual leadership prowess.

The two categories that VHR have been nominated for are:

Best Client Service – This award recognises distinction within the client service delivered by a UK headquartered recruitment business.
Best UK Overseas Operation - The Overseas Service Excellence Award acknowledges the exceptional performance of a UK-based recruitment company in delivering outstanding services abroad from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022. In an ever-expanding global marketplace, this award celebrates the remarkable achievement of providing a robust and top-notch recruitment service beyond national borders.
