VHR Wins Global Recruiter Award

VHR are delighted to announce that one of our recruitment experts has won a Global Recruiter Award.

VHR’s European Account Manager Azem Hoti was last week named Best Temporary Consultant of the Year at the annual Global Recruiter Awards.

The monthly Global Recruiter publication provides journalism, news and features for everyone working in the staffing industry around the world. The 10thannual Global Recruiter Awards highlight and recognise the most inspiring and innovative recruitment consultants and agencies across the globe.

Azem’s International Recruitment Career

Azem joined VHR in 2011 as an Apprentice Recruitment Consultant. Azem claimed Salesperson of the Month three times in 2018, and was promoted for the fourth time after winning Salesperson of the Year for breaking a new company sales record.

Azem is now a European Account Manager with his own successful and record-breaking team. Azem has been instrumental in the training and development of the VHR Academy – a bespoke training programme to transform inexperienced individuals into successful recruiters – and over eight years Azem has helped VHR grow into a £35million turnover business operating across 45 countries.

At last week’s Global Recruiter Awards, the expert judging panel revealed the winners to record numbers of guests at Café de Paris, Central London.

Of his win, Azem comments,

‘I felt very humbled just to be nominated for the Global Recruiter Awards – winning the title of Best Temporary Consultant is a huge honour for me. Since starting as VHR’s Apprentice in 2011, I have had a long and exciting career journey, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t be here without the amazing support of everyone at VHR, the candidates I work with and clients across the world. I would like to say a big thank you to the organisers of the event and everyone who helped me in my journey from an Apprentice to an award winner.’

Award-Winning Recruiters

Azem’s recognition follows another month of award success for VHR, including:

· IoD Awards – VHR’s COO Paul was named International Director of the Year by the Institute of Directors at last week’s IoD London & South Awards.

· Southwark Business Excellence Awards – VHR were named Best Medium-Sized Business of the Year in June 2019.

· Global Recruiter Awards – VHR also received the Highly Commended title in the category of Best Employer Brand for our Marketing and HR success.
