VHR Wins Amazon Scale Up Award

During the unprecedented pandemic that has caused difficulties to individuals and businesses around the globe, VHR are delighted to receive some good news: we have been named winners in the Amazon Scale Up Awards.

Amazon Business Awards Programme

The prestigious Awards programme, led by global retail giant Amazon, highlights and recognises the UK’s most impactful, fast-growing and innovative companies.

The programme saw more than 400 entries and was judged by a team of experienced business leaders including:

Piers Linney – Investor and former Dragon in BBC TV series Dragon’s Den
Jackie Fast – Businesswoman and former The Apprentice star
Irene Graham OBE – CEO of ScaleUp Institute
Caprice – Businesswoman and model.

VHR was named the 2020 winner in the category of Export Business of the Year.

International Recruitment Success

The Export Business of the Year Award celebrates companies that have demonstrated significant and sustained international growth, along with a clear understanding of overseas markets. Finalists in this category demonstrate commercial success and investment in job creation to their core UK operations.

VHR’s CEO and Founder Danny Brooks launched VHR in 2003 to create an ethical recruitment company that worked in partnership with clients and benefited businesses, workforces and communities. VHR has since grown to 90 employees and since 2016 almost doubled our turnover from £18million to £36million.

Built upon our long-established Managed Service expertise to launch our new brand VHR Workforce Solutions
Delivered two iterations of the VHR Academy which transforms inexperienced individuals into successful recruitment consultants
Developed bespoke training programmes that create new skilled Aviation workforces in the UAE and the Czech Republic
Supported over 200 clients and thousands of candidates in 52 countries around the world.
