Mechanics

Working on a full range of modern Executive Jets in a Line Maintenance environment, you can gain valuable experience and work towards gaining your Aircraft Engineers License.

The successful candidate will join a long-established and respected forward-thinking company that has a proven pedigree in career development within the organisation with type and non-type training provided to develop your skills and capabilities.

You will require:

  • At least 2 years recent experience of working in a Base or Line Support 145 organisation in a business jet or General Aviation Environment.
  • Completed a City and Guilds or diploma equivalent in aircraft engineering or relevant technical apprenticeship and/or trade qualifications.
  • Can demonstrate a high level of skill across multiple disciplines, such as mechanical, structural, and power plant tasks.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Carry out assigned maintenance, repairs, and modification of aircraft and associated system as allocated.
  • Record on worksheets details of the tasks completed, accurately reflecting the works performed with time booking.
  • When not assigned aircraft, fully utilise available time productively to support the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, and personal development for career growth.
  • Comply with all procedures detailed within the Maintenance Organisation Exposition.
  • Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures and COSHH requirements.

B1’s Jets 

This is a certifying Licensed Engineer position reporting to the Base Maintenance Manager. The B1 LAE must hold a valid EASA / UK PART 66 Aircraft Maintenance License and preferably at least one of the type ratings required. These include but are not limited to:

  •  Bombardier Challenger CL-600-2A12/-2B16 (601, 604, 605).
  •  Bombardier Global / Global Express BD-700-1A10/-1A11
  •  Cessna Citation XLS
  • Cessna Citation Latitude
  •  Phenom 300
  •  Falcon 2000

Training on additional type ratings can be provided.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Carry out scheduled Base and Line maintenance activities at the Base and provide certification of own work alongside supervision and certification of unlicensed engineer's work.
  • Carry out aircraft maintenance as an unlicensed engineer when required for aircraft types not held on approval.
  • Ensure the completion of the schedule of customer order requirements when acting as supervising, certifying or category C engineer for a given input.
  • AOG activities at and away from the Base.
  • Travel to, and work at, other bases for short periods as required.
  • Compliance with Maintenance Organisation Exposition and published processes and procedures.
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety procedures, processes and COSHH are always observed.

Requirements:

  • Be happy to travel to other locations, including overseas occasionally, at short notice.
  • Be computer literate.
  • Be eligible to hold a UK security clearance.
  • A full driving licence is preferred.
  • A current valid passport is required.
