In April 2003, VHR’s CEO and Founder Danny Brooks launched VHR: a technical recruitment company with the aim of transforming industry practice. VHR’s marketing team redesigned our website themselves in April 2019, upskilling on design programmes and learning coding and development. Our new website increased monthly traffic by 65% in six months.
In November 2019 we reached 50,000 LinkedIn followers (53% growth since January 2019) by expanding our LinkedIn content to include jobs, news, games, videos and original blog posts.
Our talented in-house tam created bespoke, targeted campaigns for clients, which have reached up to 850,000 potential candidates across three continents.

In 2019 VHR implemented our second and third Academies: training programmes to transform inexperienced individuals into recruiters. The VHR Academy has so far enabled 30 young people to empower themselves with new careers.

This has meant VHR investing significantly by incorporating in numerous geographies to offer innovative and compliant recruitment, payroll, and visa solutions.

The International Labour Organisation estimates that 40.3 million people worldwide are currently working in modern slavery. In June 2019 VHR co-founded the Fair Labour Alliance to help businesses around the world implement ethical recruitment and working practices across their supply chains.
Last year VHR were delighted to receive two titles at the 2019 Recruiter Awards: Best Engineering Recruitment Agency and Best International Recruitment Agency of the Year.
The Best Engineering Recruitment Agency category recognises staffing companies that add extensive value to their business relationships and promote the growth and success of technical industries such as Aerospace & Aviation, Automotive & Motorsport, Engineering. Defence, Marine, IT and Manufacturing.
The Best International Recruitment Agency category recognises consultancies delivering outstanding services across two or more countries outside of Britain, and those that demonstrate exceptional innovation, market insight and profitability.
