Vincenzo was a key part of VHR’s Finance and Compliance teams for over two years before deciding on a future in recruitment in January 2018.
Since joining the VHR Academy in 2018, Vincenzo has recruited technical and engineering contractors across the international Aerospace & Aviation, F1 & Automotive, Engineering & Defence and Marine industries.
Now celebrating two years as a technical recruitment consultant, Vincenzo has helped a variety of candidates and built up a solid network of Automotive and Motorsport businesses.
In January 2018 VHR launched the first new Academy: a unique training programme for individuals with no recruitment experience, who want to build a successful career in the industry.
Each Academy trains eight individuals at a time in the recruitment process, candidate sourcing, relationship building, legislation and compliance, building a personal brand and candidate care. Academy trainees receive group and 1-2-1 training, coaching and mentoring form our two in-house Learning & Development Coaches.
The Academy is also led by Ian Preddy, our Divisional Director of Recruitment Operations who has over 15 years’ industry experience, and Rebecca Fagan, a former VHR Apprentice who has achieved continued success in her 7 years working at VHR.
In just ten months, Vincenzo graduated from the Academy and was promoted into our delivery team in recognition of his dedication and success. His new title as Principal Account Executive marks his second promotion at VHR.
Vincenzo’s manager, Sales Manager Gary Taylor comments, ‘Over the last 12 months, Vincenzo has supported new and existing clients by practicing excellent communication skills and working hard to solve problems and find solutions. Vincenzo’s passion has helped him forge strong relationships with both candidates and clients.
‘This is promotion is truly well deserved. I would like to congratulate Vincenzo and I look forward to seeing his continued success in his new role.’
