VHR Promotion: Guy Ellis

VHR is proud to announce that Guy Ellis has been promoted to Principal Delivery Executive.
Since joining VHR in 2016, Guy has been an invaluable member of the Marine Team and he brings his energy and strong work ethic to work every day. His wealth of yachting experience and industry knowledge has helped build the marine team to what it is today, and this fantastic growth wouldn’t have been possible without him.
So far this year Guy has made over 78 placements, beating his target for the year still with months to go. He has played a major role in assisting the Marine Team deliver over 100 placements for two of our top clients, and his understanding of how the industry works is vital to the continued success of the business.
Guy’s promotion to Principal Delivery Executive is not just the result of hitting targets, but also a reflection of his dedication and support both externally with clients, and internally across the VHR team where he is always willing to assist and give his time.
In the last 12 months he has been helping to manage clients, and has had great success with making permanent placements.
Guy has a great affinity with contractors and builds strong relationships with candidates from initial contact and subsequent deployment right through to the end of the contract and beyond. He has also taken on more responsibility by supporting the delivery team in terms of leading morning meetings on a regular basis, and mentoring the new Academy recruits, offering advice and running one on one meetings.
Guy is one of the biggest characters at VHR, and is part of what makes the business such an exciting place to work.
