Quality Inspector CNC Machining Jobs

VHR are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join an Engineering company in Portsmouth.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to work in a permanent role as a Quality Inspector in a CNC machining subcontractor.

The company is passionate about developing and investing in its employees with a vision for long-term growth and success. The work of the CNC Quality Inspector will be kept interesting due to the variety of components produced for different industries.

Main duties will include:

Inspecting raw materials
Contributing to meetings with other departments
Final inspections including completing necessary FAIR reports
Assisting the Production Assistant daily to manage goods for despatch.

The role is based in Portsmouth, UK.

Requirements

Skilled in inspection of subcontracted work
Background in engineering
Experience of CNC machining
Extensive hands-on experience of using all types of traditional measuring equipment including digital height gauges, shadow graphs, micrometres, pin & thread gauges.
Ability to live and work in the UK.
