Danny Brier, Aviation Recruitment Account Executive, Sunette Van Aarde, Aerospace Recruitment Account Manager and Howard Wiley, Aerospace Business Development Manager, enjoyed valuable meetings with numerous clients and candidates approaching VHR’s exhibition stand today, Hall 1 WEAF stand.
Similarly to Day Two at the Farnborough Air Show, VHR’s recruitment experts have not only received a great amount footfall to our exhibition stand, but have also walked the lengths of the exhibitions halls, meeting with world-class clients and potential customers based in the Aerospace and Defence industries.
Exhibitors and visitors were able to enjoy a plethora of industry-expert seminars and talks on Day Three:

. Derichebourg Aeronautics - Suppliers of technical Interim, Permanent or Work Package people to OEMS, MRO and Production clients.
. Sigma - Manufacture components for the Aerospace industry.
. Mitsubishi - Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Europe and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries LTD are all featuring at the Farnborough Air Show.
. Aerovodochody - Design and production of both military and civil aircraft.

. Saab AB - Serving a global market, offering innovative products, services and solutions within the military defence and security, Saab is a world-class company that operates with employees on every continent across the globe. Not only are they recognisably world-leading in their developments, innovations and collaborations, Saab also improves new technology depending on what their customers’ needs are. Based outside the halls of the Farnborough Air Show in their own chalet, Saab offer a variety of entertainment in their exhibition space. Firstly, featured adjacent to their stand is the Gripen E - available for all visitors to sit inside and almost experience the thrill of flying a 15.2 metre long fighter jet. Furthermore, the exhibition chalet offers the Gripen Cockpit Simulator - a virtual reality experience allowing all visitors to envisage the excitement of flying the jet.
. RAF - Positioned parallel to Saab’s exhibition stand is another virtual reality exhibition; this time from the Royal Air Force. Having celebrated their 100 year birthday last week, the RAF offer a thrill seeking ride for those who want to experience the excitement of flying a fight jet. The virtual reality pod rocks from side to side, and dives up and down as the visitors sit inside with screens displaying a birds-eye view video. The stimulation of this exhibition is all in aid of promoting careers and jobs in the RAF.
. Bombardier - The exceptional design of the Global 5500 by Bombardier is an eye-catching, unmissable display outside the main exhibition halls at the Farnborough Air Show. It’s claimed to be of unique quality - the new class of business jets. Hosting Bombardier’s largest business jet cabin, offering the smoothest ride and covering the longest range, the Global 5500 also features extremely comfortable seats, the best onboard entertainment and clear vision. Bombardier specialise in design and development of complex composite and metallic structures and have a comprehensive after-market business support.
