Workscope Planners – Aero Engines

Our client is looking for a meticulous and solution oriented Workscope Planner, to join their dynamic and fast-growing company.  

In this role you will be in charge of the workscope preparation for engine shop visits, which includes reviewing previous maintenance history, inspection reports and customer orders in order to create the workscope. You will also provide the work instructions to the production team and create reports for the completed shop visit summary. 

Furthermore, you will ensure that we are always in full compliance with our processes and aviation authority regulations. 

This role offers a nice combination of both routine and challenges where you will use existing instructions and manuals to create individual workscopes and utilise your expertise to meet both customer needs and the demands of the aviation authority regulations. 

The Workscope Planner position is a part of our Planning Team.  

A successful candidate for this role feels comfortable working in a busy production environment with fast changing priorities; has an interest in learning the technical aspects of turbine engine technology and repair processes; has a proactive and solution-oriented mindset; pays meticulous attention to detail.  

Main responsibilities: 

  • Prepare jet engine workscopes – CF6-80C2, CFM56-5B, CFM56-7B 
  • Create component repair order in our ERP system  
  • Create maintenance repair order and all other actions related to maintenance repair order in the ERP system 
  • Advise production and customer support on items related to engine shop visit, workscope, engine configuration and shop order 
  • Administer modification implementation  
  • Create shop visit final documentation 
  • Perform all other tasks related to engine shop visit planning 

Our expectations: 

  •  Technical background 
  • B.Sc. in mechanical or production engineering 
  • Experience with ERP systems 
  • Fluent communication skills in English 
  • Excellent team working and organising skills 
  • Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences 
  • Fluent MS Office skills 
  • Experience with OEM maintenance manuals considered as an advantage 
  • Previous experience in an AMO (EASA Part 145 and FAA) or airline is an advantage
