Warehouse and Logistics Managers

 VHR is currently looking for an experience Warehouse and Logistics Manager to work a long-term contract or permanent position based in Harbin, China


Role Specific

  • Responsible to establish and control of warehouse, logistics and received spare parts, materials and components for the physical / visual inspection in accordance with the AMO MOE, ISO and other quality requirements described in the manuals or procedures internally and outside the company's territory;
  • Responsible to report timely issues related to the availability of spare parts, materials and components for non-compliance to the requirements;
  • Responsible to establish and control and carry out (if required) documents of non-compliance preparation of spare parts, materials and components which do not meet the requirements described in the AMO and ISO quality manual;
  • To collect, organise and place all requisitions/requests in the ERP System (MRO software) all the necessary information, documents and accounts, as well as the following data and documents provide to the other units of the company in order to properly carry spare parts, materials and components records ;
  • Execute other Management orders to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Efficient allocation of Department resources, implementation of performance indicators;
  • Responsible to establish and control of proper use of working area, equipment (premises, transport, tools, workwear, occupational safety measures), proper storage and accounting of basic equipment and low-cost inventory;
  • Responsible and control Accident prevention and preparation of the action plan;
  • The storage of confidential information of the Company entrusted to it by the means provided by the Company;
  • Securing and proper use of the material assets entrusted to it;
  • The correctness of the information provided;
  • Compliance with occupational safety and health, environmental protection, civil protection, fire safety requirements, internal rules;
  • For proper and timely implementation and execution of the functions assigned to it.
  • To organise the warehouse unit work and ensure the AMO quality manual the requirements and procedures for compliance.
  • Distribute tasks to warehouse supervisor and / or other departmental staff, to monitor their implementation to ensure labor discipline and be responsible for the unit assigned tasks and functions.
  • Responsible to establish and control to improve the working methods and forms of work organisation, to introduce or propose innovative measures.
  • Responsible to establish and control warehouse Unit of effectiveness planning process.
  • Responsible to establish and control work equipment in warehouse unit needs analysis and implementation.
  • To ensure safe and healthy working conditions in warehouses, that personnel comply with safety, fire protection rules.
  • Responsible to establish and control of organising warehouse, logistics periodic and annual inventory of spear parts, materials and components.
  • Responsible for the tasks of the Buying and Stores functions, e.g.
  • Layover management (preparation, managing and closure),
  • Planning and AOG purchasing and of non a/c related material,
  • Coordination of material requests,
  • Handling layover related sub-contracting,
  • Initiation of in-house fabrication,
  • Cost center related purchasing,
  • Stock and freight optimisation
  • Contract Management
  • Preparing related reports on demand, budget calculation, performance
  • Disciplinary leads the Materials department, organising and performing annual performance evaluations, roster Purchasing personnel in accordance with maintenance work load
  • Constantly monitoring the processes of quality and internal audit


Person Specific

  • Experience as a MRO EASA 145 Base Maintenance Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor and/or as a MRO EASA 145 Base Maintenance Warehouse & Logistics Manager.
  • Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems;
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Record of successful distribution and logistics management
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
  • Good organisational and time management skills     
  • Knowledge of English language
  • Efficient organisational and management skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Communications skills
