Sales Managers - Tooling & Ground Support Equipment

VHR Technical Recruitment are currently on the lookout for sales managers to join the team of one of our clients based in the UK. Our client due to continued development and expansion is looking for a well experienced aviation professional to grow its Tooling and GSE product line. This role will report directly into Vice President level.

 

Job Requirements

  • Identify OEM’s / Manufacturers niche product lines
  • Management of sourcing, quoting, and sales directly to airlines, airport authorities, MRO’s and FBO’s
  • Negotiation of contractual commercial terms and contract length for future potential product lines coming under distribution
  • Work closely with central operations team to ensure on-time delivery of reports necessary per contractual commitments in the area of: Turn rate, On-Shelf rate, Inventory management, Delivery Performance and Future Forecasting.
  • Close liaison with the internal repair management team to coordinate customer repairs of Tooling and GSE

 

Responsibilities

  • Respond to RFQ’s on a day-to-day basis for divisons products for sales, leasing and repairs
  • Source products through extensive supplier base and develop new sources
  • Support expansion of the future growth of distribution services for division
  • Customer relationship management and development
  • Collaborate with different departments, divisions and worldwide team members (HR, Legal, Quality, Procurement, Repairs, Trade Compliance, etc.) to support your territory
  • Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction while maintaining all necessary internal and any regulatory compliance requirements
  • Participate in promotional events such as conferences, meetings, and tradeshows
  • Frequent International Travel

 

Requirements

  • Proven in depth experience in Tooling and GSE Sales & Procurement
  • In depth knowledge of the market and long term strong relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Outstanding consultative selling skills
  • Ability to drive full life cycle sales process
  • Relevant technical knowledge
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
    • Excellent relationship building skills
    • Excellent leadership, communication and influencing skills with all levels of people
    • Ability to work with Quantum, Microsoft Suite and Salesforce
    • Willing to travel (25-40%)
