La 7ª edición del Congreso Náutico llevado a cabo por la Asociación Nacional de Empresas Náuticas (ANEN) los pasados 14 y 15 de marzo en Palma, Mallorca, fue todo un éxito. Con un récord de asistencia sin precedentes y la absoluta satisfacción de los asistentes, el Congreso ha conseguido cumplir sus objetivos: por un lado, marcar un horizonte para el sector náutico de cara al 2020, debatiendo asuntos de interés como son: Sostenibilidad, Innovaciones en el sector, armonización fiscal, Turismo Náutico o la aplicación del Brexit en el Reino Unido, así como acercar el sector náutico a la gente y dar a conocer las múltiples posibilidades laborales que ofrece.
The 7th edition of the Nautical Congress carried out by ANEN (Asociación Nacional de Empresas Náuticas) the past 14th and 15th of March in Palma, Mallorca, was an incredible success. With an unprecedented assistance record and the attendants’ complete satisfaction, ANEN managed to fulfil their goals: mark a horizon for the Marine industry on 2020 by debating interesting issues like sustainability, industry innovations, tax harmonization, Nautical Tourism and even the consequences of the Brexit’s impact in the United Kingdom and bring people closer to the Marine industry, letting them know the multiple job opportunities that it offers.
El Marine Team de VHR estuvo allí entrevistando a más de 25 candidatos, algunos de ellos con un gran potencial y perfil profesional, tanto con experiencia como sin experiencia en el sector, y todos ellos deseando trabajar en la industria náutica. Dale Fisher y Alex Pérez, tras debatir con nuevos clientes potenciales, llegaron a la conclusión de que existe una falta de ETT especializada en el Sector Náutico, por lo que es esencial invertir en la formación de trabajadores y en la comunicación de la amplia demanda y oportunidades de empleo y emprendimiento que la industria náutica ofrece en el país.
VHR’s Marine Team was there interviewing more than 25 candidates, some of them with a great professional profile and potential, with or without experience, all of them wishing to work in the marine industry. Dale Fisher and Alex Perez, after having spoken with some new potential clients, they concluded that there is an absence of specialized training in the marine industry, so it is essential to invest on workers’ training and in the communication of the broad demand and job opportunities that are offered in Spain.
Para solventar este problema, uno de los proyectos que se está llevando a cabo es la creación de un Centro de Formación Náutica en Alcudia, Mallorca, que complementa al ya existente en Palma y que tiene pensado abrir sus puertas para el curso 2020-2021.
To solve this problem, one of the projects that is being working on is the creation of a Marine Training Centre in Alcudia, Mallorca, that complements the one placed in Palma and plans to begin for the 2020-2021 academic year.
El futuro centro, que contará con unas nuevas instalaciones sostenibles, ofrecerá más de 40 acciones formativas con el objetivo de crear profesionales en el mantenimiento de embarcaciones, carpintería, pintura y fibra, mantenimiento de motores, instalación de sistemas electrónicos, etc.
This new training centre will come with a brand-new sustainable infrastructure that will offer more than 40 training actions with the goal of developing professional ship repairers, carpenters, painters and fairers, mechanical fitters, marine electricians, etc.
Iago Negueruela, Consejero de Trabajo, Comercio e Industria del Govern detalló en una pasada entrevista que «De lo que se trata es de establecer un sistema de formación que nos permita hacer cursos reglados en materia náutica y cursos de formación para el empleo que es una de las principales demandas que tienen tanto el sector como nuestra economía».
Iago Negueruela, Work, Commerce and Industry Councillor of the Government of the Balearics declared in a past interview that ‘What is required is to establish a training system that allows us to create and design courses that will develop more skilled workers for the marine sector that is one of the main demands of our industry and economy.’
Además, el centro contará con un servicio de intermediación laboral náutica del SOIB (Servicio de Ocupación de las Islas Baleares) para facilitar la comunicación trabajador-empresa y compaginar las necesidades de las empresas con la formación recibida.
Moreover, this centre will help with the SOIB Nautical Labour Intermediation Service to ease the relations between employee-employers and match the companies’ needs with the training given.
Por otra parte, para ayudar a volver a aquellos trabajadores que han tenido que emigrar por causas laborales, el gobierno ha puesto en marcha el proyecto TORNAM, el cual beneficiará tanto a los trabajadores del sector como a la industria náutica en España.
Besides that, to help those workers that have had to emigrate for working reasons, the government has launched the TORNAM project, which will benefit both industry workers and Spain Marine Industry itself.
Todas estas propuestas realizadas tanto por representantes de los Ministerios de Fomento e Industria, Comercio y Turismo y el Gobierno de las Islas Baleares, como por numerosas empresas del sector forman parte de la estrategia que determinará el futuro no solo de la Industria náutica, si no de la economía del país. En VHR estamos deseando ver como todos estos proyectos dan pie a una mayor profesionalización del sector en España y desarrollan profesionales que toda empresa quiera tener en su equipo.
All these proposals put forward by the Government’s Ministries of Industry, Commerce and Tourism and the Government of the Balearics, as well as countless nautical companies, are part of the strategy that will determine the future not only of the Marine Industry, but also of the Spanish Economy.
